Ebony & Ivory Website Chosen as "Killer Music Web Site"![]() The Buzz Factor's Bob Baker, well-known guru of
independent music marketing, has chosen the Ebony & Ivory
website as one of nineteen websites featured in his latest
publication "Killer Music Web Sites". This is a signal
honor for the group and a tribute to the website design skills of
"Ivory" (Andrew Gilpin). Bob Baker notes
that the Ebony & Ivory website has "a lot going for
it". He mentions "clear site navigation", and
"What's really great is the description of the music near the
top ... a smart thing to do". He sums it up in one word:
"brilliant!" Check it out for yourself by visiting
www.ebonyandivory.ca to
see why Bob Baker has chosen the Ebony & Ivory website
as an example for all musicians. Give the Gift of "Rags" for ChristmasThanksgiving is over and thoughts of Christmas dance
in our heads. And what better gift to give than the gift of music?
Andrew Gilpin is pleased to announce the limited pressing of
his new CD, Ragtime Christmas, a collection of
familiar Christmas songs and carols arranged as piano rags. These
pieces are delightful, and include piano rag versions of Santa
Claus is Coming to Town, It Came Upon the Midnight Clear,
Angels We Have Heard on High, and Jingle Bells. The
recording also includes Andrew's arrangement of Have
Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. This CD is now available at
the special holiday price of $10 plus shipping and handling. To
purchase a copy, please contact Robert Baird at
robert@ebonyandivory.ca.
