Ebony & Ivory Performs in Morden, ManitobaOn Saturday, March 1, Ebony & Ivory
performed at the Morden Recreation Centre in Morden, Manitoba, for
Southern Manitoba Concerts. Over the past 36 years, Southern
Manitoba Concerts has prided itself on sponsoring exceptional
talent, especially artists with national and international
reputations. Ebony & Ivory has now been added to their
list of distinguished artists. This appearance was organized by
Sharron Wiens, Past President, and thanks go to the
following: Darlene Derksen, President; Laurie Enns,
Co-chair; and sound engineer Barry Klassen. Robert Baird Named to NAPAMA Board & PAE Conference Advisory CommitteeRobert Baird, President of BAM! Baird Artists
Management and Agent for Ebony & Ivory, has been elected
to the Board of the North American Performing Arts Managers and
Agents (NAPAMA) and is serving on the Advisory Committee of
Performing Arts Exchange (PAE) and its Showcasing Subcommittee.
Congratulations, Robert. Belated Thanks to Redmond Oregon Concert OrganizersJay Jantzen, Booking Director for the Redmond
Community Concert Association in Redmond, Oregon, was kind enough to
let us know who assisted with the appearance of Ebony &
Ivory at their performance on Sunday, January 13, 2008. Special
thanks go out to Marcia Wood, President; Craig Unger,
Concert Master; Barbara Baldwin and Ed Johnson, Food
Presentation (dinner by Tate & Tate Caterers); Darlene
Belden and Anne Farmer, House Managers; Stan
Steele, Pat Porter, Joan Springer-Wellman and
Anne Farmer, CD Sales; Rick Hoffman and Jay
Jantzen, Stagehands; Rod Thompson and Mark,
Suntrack Sound Company; many other board members who served as
ticket checkers, program distributors, ushers, etc.; two high school
drama students, Lighting; Sparrow Club members, intermission coffee
and cookies. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Andrew, Fred and Robert would
