See Ebony & Ivory in Georgia



On October 22nd Ebony & Ivory will be performing once again in Americus, GA (just a few miles from the birthplace of former President Jimmy Carter) for the Georgia Southwestern State University Chamber Concert Series. Ebony & Ivory will be premiering a new Suite of Dances composed especially for this concert by Andrew. Thanks to Julie Megginson for making Ebony & Ivory part of her performing arts family.

"Ivory" with Barbara Mantini in Idaho



On November 1st of this year, "Ivory" (Andrew Gilpin) will be performing with soprano Barbara Mantini in Orofino, ID for the Clearwater Community Concert Association. The concert will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Orofino High School. Thanks to Jeanne Hood for bringing "Ivory" to Idaho.

Ebony & Ivory at Arts Northwest



The Arts Northwest Conference was held in Tacoma, WA from October 8-11. Robert was on hand to promote the Rhythm and Ragtime Tour and because one of his other artists (magician Andy Gross) was showcasing. There was great interest in Ebony & Ivory, especially following the Rhythm and Ragtime CD mailing which went out to all Presenters. The first visitor to the booth was, in fact, a Presenter who had received the CD and who wanted to take advantage of the Rhythm and Ragtime Tour and book Ebony & Ivory for the 2008-2009 season. Ebony & Ivory at PAE



The Performing Arts Exchange (PAE) in Louisville, Kentucky from September 26-29 found Robert Baird meeting with a multitude of Presenters from Southern Arts Federation State members. Again, the news of the new Ebony & Ivory Tour for 2008-2009, Rhythm and Ragtime, was greeted enthusiastically by Presenters and Robert is now busy following up on contacts made during PAE.
