Ebony & Ivory in Ukiah, CA
On Saturday, January 13, 2007, Ebony &
Ivory will perform in the Ukiah Community Concert Association's
annual concert series, as part of the Duo's Western tour. The Ukiah
Community Concert Association, active for more than 40 years, brings
well-known professional entertainers to Ukiah four times a year.
Nestled in a beautiful valley in the center of the coastal range of
mountains, the City of Ukiah has been ranked the Best Small Town in
California, and the sixth best in the United States. This appearance
by Ebony & Ivory is due to the efforts and support of
David Crew and George Husaruk. Ebony & Ivory EPK on SonicbidsEbony & Ivory's Electronic Press Kit (EPK)

simple alternative to the endless clutter of physical press kits that
is exchanged daily between musicians and the people who promote
music." Radio Interview Transcript Available on WebsiteIn early November 2005, following Ebony &
Ivory's successful concert at McMaster University in Hamilton,
Ontario, Andrew, his mother Carol, and Fred were
interviewed by Beatrice Ekoko for Radio Free School, an
all-volunteer show by, for and about Unschoolers/Home Learners.
Beatrice's eldest daughter Evelyna was also present,
and contributed to the interview. Many topics were covered during the
discussion, including Andrew's self-taught approach to music,
his mother's unique views on the importance of the family and of
trusting children to pursue their interests in their own way, and
Fred's experiences at the Juilliard School of Music.
We are happy to offer an MP3 of the interview,
as well as a complete transcription. You can find it all on our
