Red Hot! Reviewed In WholeNote Magazine"Intricate melodies and strong rhythmic
playing abound as Jacobowitz and Gilpin glide across many stylistic
borders ... There is no doubt that Andrew Gilpin and Fred Jacobowitz could
make some waves in the ... music scene with this debut effort. It's well
worth a listen and even a purchase, especially for fans of instrumental
music." - Eli Eisenberg, WholeNote Magazine, May, 2005
Ebony & Ivory To Tour California In NovemberThe Ebony & Ivory California Tour is
shaping up to be a major fall event for the Duo. After a concert on Nov.
4th for the Peterborough Concert Association, the Duo will travel
to California for concerts in Bakersfield (Bakersfield Concert
Association), Bishop (Bishop Concert Association) and Ridgecrest
(Indian Wells Valley Concert Association) so far. In addition to its
regular evening concerts, the Duo will also provide some educational
concerts for schools. More on the tour to come! Ebony & Ivory A Hit In ArkansasEbony & Ivory performed at First United
Methodist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas on Sunday, April 17th.
Director of Music Ministries Kurt Kennedy engaged the Duo as part of
an exciting and ambitious music program at the church. The Duo was
overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response of the audience. At the end of the
evening the Duo was mobbed by concertgoers intent on purchasing their debut
CD Red Hot! and getting it
signed by the artists. Andrew and Fred were only too glad to
oblige and stayed nearly an hour after the concert for their fans.
