What a delight it was for Ebony & Ivory to travel to Milwaukee and perform at Wisconsin Lutheran College as part of the 2005 Guest Artists Encore Series. Dan Schmal, Director of Arts Programming, was on hand to introduce the Duo, and all preliminary arrangements were handled by Marcy Gurgel, Fine Arts Events Manager. The Schwan Concert Hall at Wisconsin Lutheran is a performer's (and an audience's) dream, with an acoustic that allows the softest dynamic to be clearly heard. Ebony & Ivory performed Friday and Saturday evening concerts and the audiences responded enthusiastically, leaping to their feet at concert's end and demanding an encore.

Special thanks to Tim Kveens, Technician, whose artistic lighting effects enhanced the concert, and to Katie Neuman, House Manager, who kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Highlights of Ebony & Ivory's Wisconsin trip were a wonderful facility, friendly people, and memorable concerts - who could ask for anything more?
