ORDER YOUR COPY NOW! Ebony & Ivory a Delight on Florida TourThe first stop for Ebony & Ivory was
Lake Sumter Community College in Leesburg, FL. The Duo played two concerts
during the weekend of November 13 and 14 to sellout crowds. Special thanks
to Mariah Delgado, LSCC Foundation Special Events Coordinator and
Greg Cumbaa, Paul P. Williams Theater Technical Director. The Duo
was warmly received by the audience and performed their signature "
banquet" of musical selections. Next on the tour was a concert on November 19 in
the First Arts Series at First United Methodist Church in Fort Walton
Beach. The First Arts venue is a lovely setting for a concert with a fine
piano; special thanks to Karen Tindall for making the arrangements
and providing such heartfelt hospitality to the Duo. Ebony & Ivory's final tour date was on
December 3 at Polk Community College, where the Duo performed its Christmas
Show. With a wide array of Christmas music from a Medieval Carol to Have
Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Frosty the Snowman, there
was "something for everyone." The Duo performed such classics as
Ave Maria and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, the contemporary
Christian classic Mary, Did You Know?, three of Andrew's original
piano rags based on familiar carols, and a pot pourri of popular Christmas
songs. Many thanks to Sharon Bevis, who was instrumental in making
the arrangements, and to James Sharp, who was of great technical
assistance. Upcoming EventsMarch 11 & 12,
