Ebony & Ivory to Perform in Fort Walton Beach, FLFirst Arts Concert Series is provided for
the entire community by First United Methodist Church in downtown Fort
Walton Beach. The series, which began in 1989, is dedicated to bringing
outstanding family entertainment to the Northwest Florida Panhandle.
Ebony & Ivory will bring its concert magic to First Arts on
Friday, November 19, 2004. Thanks to Karen Tindall for her support
of the Duo. Ebony & Ivory Debut CD to Begin ProductionIt's not just hot - it's RED HOT! The Ebony
& Ivory debut CD, entitled RED HOT!, will begin
production this summer. Andrew and Fred are looking forward
to recreating their dynamic live performances in the recording studio, with
the help of some stellar guest artists (more on this next month!)
According to Andrew, "This recording is
the next logical step in our evolution as a duo. Our fans have been asking
for it, and Fred and I felt the time was right." The CD will feature a wide variety of music taken
from Ebony & Ivory's concert repertoire, with pieces by
Benny Goodman, Scott Joplin, Leonard Bernstein,
George Gershwin, and Andrew Gilpin ("Ivory").
