Ebony & Ivory Start New Year in Illinois

Ebony & Ivory start the New Year with a concert in Woodstock, Illinois for the Woodstock Fine Arts Association. The concert will take place on Saturday, January 26th at the Woodstock Opera House. Built in 1890 to house City Hall, the public library, the fire department, and an auditorium, the Opera House quickly became McHenry County's center for entertainment and hospitality. The building was completely restored in 1977 and is home to several dramatic and musical companies, including the Woodstock Fine Arts Association. The WFAA presents an annual concert series and school children's performance series. Advance preparations for the concert have been long underway and special thanks must go to Ellen Krech who has been working very hard to promote the concert and attending to the many details associated with such an enterprise. In conjunction with this concert appearance, Ebony & Ivory will be sending special invitations to the concert to other Arts Presenters in the Woodstock area. This will give them the opportunity to experience an Ebony & Ivory live concert and inspire them to make programming Ebony & Ivory one of their New Year's resolutions!
